Here is a snippet of how Women of the Cross is helping people and changing communities

Empowering and enabling lives; young , adults, elderly by meeting their needs wherever we can

Our charity is working with families, children and young people by paying school fees, uniforms and helping young people to access training and education

Medical Support

We helped Rati, a Zimbabwean, a single parent who is visually impaired and also succumbed to a  rare bone disease that affected her mobility. In May 2021, Women of the Cross managed to raise and pay  US$1585 for surgery.  We sent the money directly to the hospital for her treatment, she was so delighted to have this burden taken off her. Rati is now mobile and has now returned to her activities of daily living

Shelter + Food

In summer 2021 we partnered with the Tilda Foundation in making a woman, Mrs Svova who was struggling to provide for her five children. We joined with the partnership and built Mrs Svova a kitchen and some furniture for her home

Food Relief

In April 2016 our team managed to spend the afternoon in Gokwe, Zimbabwe providing food hampers to those affected by the drought. We also built homes for a family in Gutu and provided food hampers to residents of the village
